The
GlobaLink
wireless local area network (WLAN) provides a variety of commumication options, such as
locating & tracking packages, employees, vendors & equipment, text & voice messaging,
picture display, maintenance and personal services, security features, and more.
Once commissioned, the WLAN becomes the property of the owner of the operation, who
has the option to lease connectivity to its clients and vendors who work on, or visit,
the property.
A variety of hosting strategies are developed during the commissioning stage. The plan
is initiated with the
WLAN options form. Blending your needs with our input, the full
functionality of your WLAN will evolve over time, and new programs can be added
as they become available.

You may decide to levy a connectivity fee on those who commmonly enter your property.
The WLAN helps them do their job more efficiently, making use of your network a valuable
commodity to those you do business with. An annual, monthly or user fee can be
negotiated with the client, depending on profile.

A hosting strategy is developed with a

design consultant during the set-up & commissioning stage. Since the network will
generate income for your operation, you may decide to install
GlobaLink
in stages, using a payment structure customized around your efficiency
savings and hosting plan income profile.

Your Local Area Network
You control all aspects of security and communication within your network area. You can
govern access to the property by mandating smart badges for all staff, vendors, delivery
vehicles/personel, equipment to carry a tag. The perimeter access points are
activated by tags alone, or can be interfaced with a secondary technology if required.
WLAN Costs
The cost of using GlobaLink will vary depending on what options are selected in the
hosting plan calculator form. The program may be compatible with your existing
PDA, or you may decide to use one of a variety of PDA's that we offer.
Some hosting programs do not provide locating/tracking services as this may not be required
by all users. The range of service is really up to the operating manager.
