PlayLink
Acquistion Options
|
 |
|
PlayLink
is a component of the Golf Assistant Program (GAP), but can be acquired separately
by a golf course. Because this component can generate income for a golf course, it may
be implemented first, which can allow the course to acquire other GAP modules from
profit generated by
PlayLink.
PlayLink
can be used by golfers for a variety of functions depending on which module is used.
It can accurately locate flag positions, keep golf scores and register handicaps.
It can also be used to order refreshments from the clubhouse. Some modules can be
used for other functions such as text messaging.

PlayLink Acquisition Options
|
|
|
PlayLink
can be acquired in a variety of ways that best suit the individual golf course. These options
will be finalized with a GAP consultant during our first site visit. Listed below are several
overviews of what is available. When a course first signs up for
PlayLink,
they must also acquire
AdLink,
which is the administrative software package that runs all the other components.

|
PlayLink Option 1
|
Set Up Cost = $15,000 USD
|
Option 1
initially includes 120 modules (Model #PL01). These modules are available to the golf course
on an acquisition plan as follows;
A course raises their green fees by $5 per round to include use of the PL01 module.
This generates an extra $20 per group for the course, or $960 per day if tee
times are at 10-minute intervals from 8am to 4pm.
The golf course pays GAP 75% of this income until we have received $7,500. This should only
take about 2 weeks or so.
Once this payment has been made, GAP receives 50% of this income to acquire any other
components that are desired.
Once all components are acquired, GAP receives 10% of PlayLink derived income to host and
maintain the components.
|
The golf course can continue to use income from module leasing to acquire
the additional modules such as
MainLink.
